Today, on this day of giving thanks, I am grateful for  each member of the special clan I call friends & family. I'm also thankful for the many opportunities I have for adventures. Countdown: Only 19 sleeps  to go until.... PANAMA !

BOCAS DEL TORO AT CHRISTMAS

Today I began to erect the Travel Shrine for our winter get-away.  It will continue to grow over the next month and  hint at some of the anticipated adventures and lessons to be learned.

This I believe: Travel  has the power to transform  our lives in an essential way.  It promises that if we pluck up our daring and take the journey,  the road (or the water)  we travel will lead to self discovery. This is no small promise.

Every time leave home for an adventure we open up the possibility of having something wonderful happen.  We set in motion events that may bring changes to our very core. And we usually don’t know ahead of time what those changes will be!

On December 11 we will depart for Bocas del Toro island in Panama, Central America. It will be another journey of trains, planes, automobiles, and boats.  I hope you’ll travel along with us on this journey.  It promises to be…..an ADVENTURE!
